Vitamin T is working with a wonderful PR/marketing agency looking for a high level creative to join their growing team on a contract to hire basis! This is a full time on-site role in downtown Chicago.
In close partnership with our Director of Content Strategy, the Art Director/Creative Director will also manage the agency’s creative process and formalize improved internal and cross-team processes and workflows ensure that final products are completed on time and with the highest standards.
Partner with senior leaders across multi-disciplinary teams to define creative strategy for our clients.
Support ongoing business development initiatives for creative services: leading brainstorms, defining creative strategy recommendations, selling the agency’s creative capabilities.
Oversee production for a broad range of creative work, including brand identity development, UX and UI design and integrated marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate:
Values high-quality purpose-driven design and integrated creative work across art and copy as a critical driver of the agency’s future success
7-10 years of agency experience in design or art direction
Experience leading design production for a diverse range of creative work, including UX, UI, brand, print and video work
An award-winning portfolio and an impeccable eye for layout, color and typography
Experience in a client-facing role
Strong communication and influencing skills. Must be able to effectively articulate, present and explain creative decisions to internal and client partners.
Experience managing, leading and developing a team
Adept at preemptively identifying problems and devising solutions
A commitment to high quality work and to positive collaborative relationships with agency partners -- clients, team members, peers, managers, etc.
Skills in versatility and adaptability with the capacity to handle multiple projects and re-prioritizations at once
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision
