My client - a tour de force mid-sized ad agency - is looking to add a Media Planner to their team.
They are on fire right now - winning 5 new AOR accounts in the last several months - and are building a new media team to support these latest books of business. Coming in at the ground floor, you'll have the ability to really own the relationships with your clients, giving you a voice in helping shape their media strategies over time. This is an opportunity to truly flex your 'Left brain / Right brain' skills, working with some of the most recognizable brands in the U.S. (and maybe even the world).
While no two days will ever be the same, you're day-to-day could include: developing and executing media plans across all channels; brainstorming media program ideas to help win pitches; tracking + analyzing live campaigns and reporting on KPIs; negotiating placement deals; meeting new vendors and keeping up with what's trending in adtech and media today.
Sound good? Awesome. Here's what they're looking to see:
2-4 years experience in media or ad agency, with at least 2 of those years specifically in digital media + buying.
Experience working with Doubleclick, DART, comScore, MRI, and other research tools is a must.
An ability to keep cool under pressure; there will be times when you're juggling a lot and will need to be able to prioritize your time.
True stories of when you absolutely nailed it, and when you didn't even come close; what did you learn from those experiences to make you better.
Good-natured people who are inspired and driven; egos need not apply.
This role is based in Boston, MA; no relocation assistance available.
Also seeking Media Coordinators + Supervisors (Apply to this role and specify in the 'Comments' section.)
