Our travel/hospitality client is looking for a writer/copy editor who will serve as the editor of the entire RFP, looking at every section, making sure writing is up to the specifications and requirements, and pulling it altogether in the same voice. S/he will need to provide their own equipment. The writer will take provided technical content, about 100 pages of copy, and ensure the structure and everything is clean and in the same voice, making it fun for a reader to get through. The start date is 4/9 for about 1-2 month assignment with 4 full-time weeks of work over 6-7 weeks, the final draft is due in May.
-Passion for writing
-Experience writing government RFPs or writing for the National Park Service
-Experience as a proposal writer who can explain what is going on in an intriguing way and suggests adding illustration or other additional components to the piece
**Must provide resume/portfolio demonstrating above criteria and writing samples (e.g. projects done from government RFPs or park service, department of interior, etc.) for consideration!
