Our client are a well known high-street retail brand who are looking for a hands on Design Manager with E-commerce experience to join their team on a permanent basis.
High street fashion brand or agency experience would be preferred, as well as some exposure to UX Design. We are looking for someone with creative flair, excellent typography skills and if possible, an integrated design background.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop and deliver online creative content for two separate brands, whilst managing a small team of permanent designers + freelancers.
You will be reporting into the Manager of Ecommerce and will be responsible for the creative strategy, coming up with innovative ideas that are on brand, across web, email and various other printed and digital marketing collateral.
Alongside your Design team, you will be liaising with Developers, Copywriters and the Brand and Marketing Team on a regular basis, to ensure delivery is on brand and pushing creative boundaries, whilst meeting business goals and deadlines.
You will be responsible for the development of your design team (identify training needs, coaching and mentoring), working closely with and developing strong relationships with teams and partners, managing creative budgets and keeping up to date with upcoming design trends.
