Job Description

Our client, a well-known brand name clothier that specializes in wedding dresses, prom gowns, and other formal wear, is looking for a solid retail-oriented Marketing Manager to join their team! 

Start Date: as soon as the right fit is found

Duration: Temp-To-Perm; 6 months to start with the opportunity to convert to a full-time employee thereafter

Hours: full-time, 40 hours per week

Location: on-site in Conshohocken, PA

 

Must Haves:

- 5-6 years experience as a marketing generalist with project management, brand management, account management and marketing strategy capabilities

- experience working with marketing plans for traditional TV, radio, magazine channels

- self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running in a marketing capacity

- ​experience with Google Analytics, DocuTools, and MicroStrategy preferred

​- retail background strongly preferred

 

Client Description:

The Marketing Manager (Bridal) will contribute to the overall strategic direction and development of the company’s marketing programs, particularly those supporting the growth of bridal division and new corporate initiatives.  The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the superior design and implementation of key marketing initiatives necessary to build the brand and business and has accountability for achieving a significant increase in brand awareness, brand image, and ultimately, overall business results. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for providing leadership in analyzing, defining, and executing the initiatives critical to achieving business and brand image growth. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of all bridal, flower girl, accessories, and designer marketing materials such as marketing support plans and calendars, seasonal and creative briefs, tactical briefs for print collateral, signage, and traditional media, and promotional and content plans against the brand architecture.
  • Partner with appropriate internal partners and external partners to deliver measurably superior programs. 
  • Develop design plan for all bridal, flower girl, accessories, and designer communications.
  • Serve as a primary marketing liaison with creative, designer brands, and other internal/external partners.
  • Execute creative briefs for marketing projects and campaigns and partners with the creative team to ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with the merchant group to develop marketing materials in support of bridal, flower girl, and accessories merchandising strategy.
  •  Lead the development of consumer understanding and competitor understanding programs to finesse and strengthen our brand architecture with the objective to drive higher awareness and improved image ratings.
  • Lead the development of traffic-generating programs and integrated marketing plans and develop appropriate tests/metrics to identify which to expand.
  • Develop appropriate dashboards for assessing brand awareness and image relative to competition. Ensures the right pieces of research are in place to get necessary input.
  •  Lead the development of promotions and other initiatives, partnering with internal and external partners, to ensure excellent execution.
  • Assist in managing research and tracking studies to monitor target audience trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications or related field
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Detail oriented, while still being able to see the big picture
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams and with external agencies
  • Ability to convey a “team first” mentality; has a collaborative nature
  • Strong interpersonal and judgment skills to influence internal and external teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a given time
  • Possess an inquisitive and competitive nature, thirsting to understand competitors, consumers, and our company to identify how we can “win”
  • Ability to review and interpret information in order to perform duties
  • Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
  • Excellent critical thinking, data analysis, project management, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Retail and/or brand marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics, DocuTools, and MicroStrategy preferred
