Job Description

An agency based in Boston is looking to add a Media Director in their Seattle office who will drive integrated media strategy for all paid investment initiatives for their clients including programmatic strategy and activation. While the focus is largely digital, knowledge of traditional media planning is a definite plus. This position requires that the candidate manage and lead a team to consistently and successfully deliver on the execution of complex programs. You must be a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented, highly motivated, and have an eye on what’s next in the media landscape. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities while managing client expectations, timelines and coordination between various resources.


  • Actively contribute original thinking and sound guidance to program efforts
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Approves the direction of RFPs that help media partners propose innovative solutions that exceed clients’ expectations
  • Demonstrate a tireless focus on clients' business and their day-to-day performance
  • Approves timelines and handle account service and project management requests
  • Work with cross-functional departments to ensure flawless execution
  • Proactively research industry, category and client trends and bring innovative ideas to their planning team
  • Ensures accurate recording keeping on accounts
  • Leadership of new business initiatives in collaboration with agency senior management


Required Competencies

  • BA in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with display, paid social programmatic & digital partnerships, preferably in an Agency environment;
  • Deep knowledge of paid social and advertising technology ecosystems
  • Previous success in the planning, development and management of digital media campaigns for brands or products
  • Experience with DoubleClick and other 3rd party tracking solutions preferred
  • Knowledge of the DSP landscape and points of differentiation
  • Familiarity with data management platforms (DMPs)
  • Ability to analyze data and a deep understanding of measurement practices, 3rd party measurement companies and web analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven client service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills
  • Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead a multi-faceted team of channel specialists and provide growth opportunities and mentorship to all members of the team
  • Collaboration with agency’s senior media management
  • Passion for keeping up with emerging technologies and the digital marketing landscape
  • Some travel required, anticipated to be between 10-20%
