The primary duties and related experience for the Bilingual Communications Officer role includes the following:
1. Client Liaison and Advisory Services – provides communications advice and support to EQAO’s operational teams by developing communications project plans and messages; identifies target audiences and stakeholder information needs; determines appropriate communications strategies, events and priorities to meet project objectives;
2. Project management – plans, develops and implements assigned communications projects; conducts the research, writes the content, coordinates the design, development and production of communications projects in French and English and determines and implements schedules and priorities to meet project objectives;
3. Product development – works with internal and external stakeholders to produce print and digital communication products;
4. Issues management – scans for emerging issues and prepares appropriate responses.
