Job Description

The Graphic Designer plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s Marketing functions. The role is primarily responsible, under moderate to intermittent direction, for producing internal and/or external communication materials and providing internal graphic design support for his/her assigned functional area(s). 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
• Liaison with stakeholders within assigned functional area(s) on editorial and creative voice, palette, and imagery. 
• Perform wireframing and information architecture of online company newsletter, microsites, and intranet sites. 
• Design new web pages for internal and external communications, including all graphic execution. 
• Participate in the Internal Communications Committee and review products completed by third-party vendors such as the organization’s public relations firm. 
• Organize content, provide visual aids, and manage the publishing of the periodic company newsletter. 
• Act as a subject matter expert internally to other departments on inquiries and projects related to graphic design; ensure design standards are met. 
• Update and maintain the master calendar of publications. 
• Assist the executive team in preparation of professional presentations and communication. 
• Research and manage vendors for other multimedia projects, such as video communications, that may be prepared for external or internal stakeholders. Monitor production, participate in editing, and take ownership for final product. 
• Increase employee awareness by creating graphic designs for internal communications
• Adhere to and set new brand guidelines. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Graphic Designer, Retail Marketing – Specific Duties: 
• Maintain company and customer-facing content in the Vantage marketing platform, or other selected vendor platforms. 
• Develop and update content in the creative asset library for use by Marketing Coordinators and Field Personnel. 
• Log production status of requested assignments in SmartSheet. 

Graphic Designer, Corporate Communication – Specific Duties: 
• Assist with maintaining company content on social media channels such as Linkedin, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as on the company blog; ensure company objectives and initiatives are effectively communicated via these channels. 
• Serve as a member of the cross-functional group tasked with identifying new opportunities to advance company objectives via social media; make recommendations for changes and improvements related to the organization’s social media presence. 
• Update content on the company website; make recommendations to improve user experience. 

Graphic Designer, Corporate Marketing/Product Marketing – Specific Duties: 
• Working collaboratively with the Chief Marketing Officer, revamp the positioning of our product collateral and advertising within the Secondary Marketing space. 
• Assist with maintaining company content on social media channels such as Linkedin, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as on the company blog; ensure company objectives and initiatives are effectively communicated via these channels. 
• Serve as a member of the cross-functional group tasked with identifying new opportunities to advance company objectives via social media; make recommendations for changes and improvements related to the organization’s social media presence. 
• Update content on the company website; make recommendations to improve user experience. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s in Fine Arts or related degree, along with a minimum of three years recent experience in Communication, Marketing, or graphic design role(s). 
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and content management systems required. 
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite. 
• Strong command of social media best practices. 
• Strong visual, infographic thinking, with the ability to present data in compelling ways. 
• Excellent verbal and communication skills required. 
• Effective writing and presentation skills required. 
• Strong interpersonal skills and passionate about delivering excellence in customer service. 
• Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced environment required. 
• Self motivated with a strong attention to detail.
