Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer for a great company south of Milwaukee for a three month assignment. This role works closely with the Senior Art Director to provide industry-leading, inspiring conceptual solutions for a wide variety of omni-channel marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will have the ability to both develop uniquely creative new concepts from a project brief as well as have superb production skills to make enhancements to existing projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create smart designs and innovative solutions for a wide variety of projects including, but not limited to: packaging, direct mail, advertising, point-of sale materials and other creative as needed to support offline and online marketing campaigns
  • Create innovative and brand-consistent designs using established brand guidelines 
  • Manage production schedules and coordinate with vendors for pre-press and print production
  • Manage retouching and color calibration for all images used in artwork files
  • Adhere to department workflow policy to ensure deadlines are met while troubleshooting issues with in-house and third party vendors
  • Present and review artwork throughout the production process and provide quality assurance of all deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience designing print medium within an agency or in-house design department
  • Expert-level skills with the latest versions of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Mac OS
  • Experience with Microsoft Programs (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale with every level of the organization, as well at external creative agencies and partners
  • Independent worker with the ability to easily collaborate with a team of designers, photographers, art directors, production artists, and copywriters
  • Must work well under tight time constraints, adapting priorities, and challenges to assure timely delivery of projects
  • Self-motivated, organized, accountable, careful attention to detail
  • Demonstrates initiative in resolving missing, incomplete or inconsistent information in project briefs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent combination of related education and experience
  • Experience working in the fashion and/or advertising is preferred
