Vitamin T is currently in search of a Training Manager for our client in Metro Detroit. This is a long term contract opportunity! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Write program deliverables to meet internal and external client objectives • Approach design and development of projects using Instructional Design principles and tools • Ability to develop training solutions that are creative and engaging to learners • Prioritize incoming work and coordinate with Project Managers and Training Managers to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables • Manage to scope of work and adhere to timelines during design, development, execution and evaluation of training initiatives • Maintain awareness of the financial performance of your projects and/or client/regional P&L, minimize internal costs and drive revenue opportunities to meet financial targets • Contribute thought leadership on a regular basis, creating an environment of openness and trust with clients and internal team members • Build internal and external comprehension of subject matter expertise of automotive retail operations and automotive product training QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Bachelor degree in Adult Education, Human Performance, Instructional Design (ID), or Writing - (MA/MS Preferred) • 5-7 years experience in the training/education field and knowledge of adult learning theory and human performance improvement processes • Experience with automotive training development; including familiarity with automotive retail processes • Practical experience with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation of performance improvement initiatives for all media, including blended solutions (classroom training, web-based training, job aids, performance support tools, video) • Ability to develop instructional objectives and strategies, develop recommendations for deliverables and implement solutions • Ability to communicate effectively and proven ability to work with internal project teams during the development process (i.e., Account Management, Creative and Programming) to meet business objectives and program goals • Ability to support planning and monitoring performance improvement initiatives from assessment through design and/or delivery • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content for varied audiences • Experience in effectively presenting recommendations to internal and external clients to obtain buy-in • Ability to evaluate instruction/training effectiveness and make recommendations to internal and external clients based on results How to apply: + Click apply at the bottom of this page + Email a resume to Brandon at email@example.com (be sure to include your portfolio, a link to them, or samples of your work, if applicable) + Treat yourself.
