We asked our fans and followers to tell us what they thought was the best site of 2013 and boy did they come through!
We saw it all: responsive sites, HTML5, videos, animations, and lots and lots of parallax!
Turns out 2013 was as a banner year for sites for sure (no pun intended).
So, without further ado, here’s our highly scientific list of the Best Websites of 2013!
Outfitted with parallax scrolling, 3D images, and sequences, it’s everything a user could ask for. Hey, it’s responsive, too!
An interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire's song "We Used To Wait" and was built entirely with the latest open web technologies, including HTML5 video, audio, and canvas.
Hybrid ad agency Outsider created this microsite for Matt Zoller Seitz’s book on Wes Anderson. Anderson fans get to see beautiful illustrations of their favorite characters (created by the Argentinian graphic designer and illustrator Max Dalton), video essays and a trailer for the book. An Awwwards site of the day.
The Favourite Website Awards site called this site a “stunning HTML5 experience.” We think you’ll agree after you see the amazing imagery put into this behind-the-scenes experience of the award-winning movie.
