Vitamin T is seeking a Senior Social Media Copywriter for one of our clients in Kent, WA. This is a 3 month contract, 40hours/week on-site.
Define marketing strategy for select marketing programs to support business objectives.
Develop and manage reporting of select marketing program data.
Analyze marketing program data and apply to program management.
Collaborate with cross-divisional marketing resources and external agencies to develop and ensure multi-channel integrated campaigns.
Work directly with the Manager and Sr. Program Manager to ensure that content is on strategy, on time and within budget.
Professional writing and editing capabilities; ability to create, curate, edit and align information to meet content needs.
Instinct for identifying newsworthy, shareworthy content opportunities that resonate with target customers.
Proven success in developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating results-oriented, creative and/or editorial programs.
A “self-starter” approach, proactive, ability to see an opportunity and build a plan to grab it in quick order.
Experience managing and negotiating with internal partners, external vendors and freelancers.
Understanding of the latest content strategy trends, social media and SEO.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English preferred
5-7 years of experience in copywriting or journalism
Proven ability to develop strong creative concepts for social media
Proven ability to write and edit effective marketing copy
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated understanding of outdoor activities and gear
Willingness to work flexible schedules to meet deadlines
Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritize well
Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others.
Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions.
