Job Description

We are working with one of Austin's well known IT companies. They have won many awards and has been recognized by Forbes as a great company to work for. They are making a wealth of improvements and they are fanatical about putting their users first in everything they do. So whats the need? We are seeking a UX Designer who can work on the final stages of an internal customer portal. Essentially, we need final stages of interaction & visual design, as well as the final usability and final iterations. You will genuinely own this project along with the key stakeholders so we need a strong UX Designer with a solid ability and proven experience in leading a project like this.

We have a REALLY tight deadline (who isn't lately) so let me know by this weekend if you are interested so we can discuss it!

Client Description:

A minimum of five years of UX or interaction design experience, must have e-commerce and/or customer portal experience.
Proven well-designed examples of responsive grid-based layouts. Strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.
Work with product managers and other stakeholders to discover and understand user needs and requirements to turn high level product requirements into workflows and designs.
Taking a complex, technical problem and make an attractive, easy-to-use UI
Create clickable prototypes for remote usability testing
Conducting informal feature walkthroughs, usability studies, and other user research activities with the best users on the planet (primarily using remote meeting technology).
Rapidly iterate and launch follow-up usability tests or studies – thoughtfully incorporating user, developer, and product manager feedback into design revisions
Design solutions to usability issues in products quickly – in minutes and hours, not days and weeks
Sharing and communicating research and designs with cross functional teams
