Job Summary:

We’re looking for a seasoned UI Designer who’s passionate about creating immersive web experiences and obsessed with details. Someone who dreams in color palettes and type faces, and who can distill the most complicated process into a clean and engaging interface.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years professional experience in UX/UI for fast-performing, responsive web applications
  • Visual design expertise in creating simple, elegant interfaces for complex business challenges
  • Deep knowledge of Web UX/UI best practices
  • Familiarity with Atomic Design
  • Expertise in RWD interface design
  • Well-versed in typography, layout, color, and brand identity principles
  • Comfortable creating rapid functional prototypes with Balsamiq or Axure
  • Proficient in standard design tools including Photoshop
  • Understanding of accessibility and designing accessible websites
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Able to multi-task, handle fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
  • Able and willing to give and receive feedback in a positive, productive, and professional manner
  • Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uphold, safeguard and promote the organization’s values and philosophy, relating particularly to ethics, integrity, corporate/social responsibility
  • Design a fresh and beautiful user experience for the website and supporting web tools, for ticket buyers, event organizers, internal staff, and other users
  • Drive the creation of process flows, functional wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI/design specifications
  • Act as an advocate for our users, developing a deep understanding of what they want (and why) in order to create ideal user interfaces
  • Create standards for the business (don’t just follow!), and stay up to date on current best practices for UX/UI
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that your designs support business and functional goals
  • Design experimental web pages and/or elements for A/B testing
  • Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
  • Compensation:

  • DOE
  • 100% employer-paid premiums for medical, dental and vision (90% dependents)
