Job Description

The Social Media Manager will, under the direction of the Associate Director, manage all activities related to our social media marketing efforts including 24/7 monitoring and social/online advertising. S/he will also be responsible for reporting, analytics, and ROI. S/he will manage all content for social sites that will help promote brand awareness, thought leadership and lead generation
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Percentage of Time Identify the accountabilities or tasks that employees in the job perform. Of the tasks listed, what percentage of time is devoted to each? S/he will manage social media strategy and content on social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest) under the direction of the Associate Director. S/he will manage all day-to-day campaigns, activities and contests, monitoring, boosting/sponsoring, reporting and tracking. S/he will need to stay abreast of any changes within the digital/social industry, as well as continuously generate creative, new ideas and content for us to stay competitive in this environment.
S/he will manage all comments and engagements and be responsible for 24/7 monitoring.
S/he will be responsible for any online or social advertising and ad budget. S/he will need to understand where we should be placing ads, keep a log of all advertising, and develop ads to generate high engagement for the right audiences.
