  1. What made you want to work at Vitamin T? And what do you love most about working here? I still remember my first day. There was something different about this place. I got a great vibe when I walked in and found each and every person I encountered inspiring and… happy!! I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing company right away. Today what I love the most is what got me hooked from the start… the people I get to work with and the lives I get to impact on a daily basis.

  2. In your job, what’s been your favorite moment or biggest joy? I had a talent once say to me, "No one has cared so much about me or invested this much time in me… not even my own family. You changed my life today!" I still get chills when I remember that conversation. There is nothing greater than having an impact and making a difference in someone’s life. It's so incredibly rewarding.

  3. What’s your favorite interview question? I have a few. "What was your favourite brand/project that you were a part of?" I love asking this question because I suddenly see the passion in a creative’s eyes! They light up and start telling me about some of the most fascinating and creative work they have done. A fun favourite of mine is, "If you could have any superpower what would it be?" or even "What is your favourite quote?" I'm obsessed with quotes and anyone who knows me will testify to that. I love these 2 questions because the answers you get really tell you a lot about what makes the person tick, which is essential when you’re matching for culture at a job.

  4. Biggest myth about being a recruiter/salesperson/staffing industry? That we're just 'headhunters' who throw people into jobs we want to fill or that we are salespeople only here to make money. The more I work and learn, the more I fall in love with creative staffing. We meet amazing people, we consult... we change lives! It can't get better than that. Yes, at the end of the day it's still a business, but there’s a lot of us who pursue this job with passion and have a real desire to make a difference.

  5. What’s the BEST thing someone can do when looking for a job? Stand out from the rest and be memorable. Work on branding yourself and definitely do as much networking as you can. Don't just rely on an agency to find you work. Get out there and sell your skills and make connections!

  6. What do you like about working with creative talent? They're unique!! Each has their very own style; I love learning about their work, what projects they've been a part of, and how they have impacted a business. I really love picking their brain and learning about what they do and learning from them. It's endlessly fascinating and a lot of fun!

  7. As a 5 year old, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to sell bracelets and live on the beach! Then I wanted to be a gymnast. Then a psychologist and work with people. How random is that?? LOL!
