Prototyper

Overview

This is an on-site role in Silicon Valley.
Pay Range: $90/hr – $96/hr

Our client is a leader in the tech space, and looking for a Prototyper. The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate, design, and prototype experiences, shaping the foundation for innovative AR and AI wearable products that can deliver strong user value with the potential for widespread market success. As a prototyper, you will rapidly construct interactive prototypes to inform decisions on AR and AI wearable hardware and articulate the vision for the software experience.

The Prototyper’s Job Responsibilities:

• Rapidly create interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and inform product decisions
• Collaborate with other designers, prototypers, researchers and technical teams to collect feedback to iterate and improve the quality of the prototypes
• Give and solicit real-time feedback from others in order to improve the quality of the product
• Partner effectively with PMs, engineers, user researchers, content strategists to explore AR and AI product visions that holds strong user value;

The Prototyper’s Job Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Unity prototyping and development;
• Solid programming experience in C# (Javascript, C/C++, Python are preferable)
• Experienced in designing and prototyping interactions in AR/VR;
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability are required.
• Basic ability to visualize in 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design,
• Proven problem solving experience and experience overcoming challenges
• Experienced in prototyping AI or LLM interaction is a huge plus

The Prototyper’s Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, HCI, Design, or relevant field or equivalent work experience required

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $90/hr – $96/hr.
